With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Harrison Roger Blonigen, a cherished member of the New Prague Hockey Association. Harrison's journey in hockey began when he joined as a Mite in the Fall of 2022, bringing boundless energy and passion to the ice. Sadly, he left us all too soon, as he was announced dead on Sunday, the 25th of June 2023, just one day before celebrating his fifth birthday.

1. A Joyful Beginning

Born on June 26, 2018, in Northfield, Minnesota, Harrison was a beloved playmate to his brother Barrett. Together, they formed an unbreakable bond that brought immense joy to their parents, Brian & Meghan Blonigen. Later on, their family expanded with the arrival of a third baby boy named Hendrick, bringing even more happiness to their loving home.

2. Big Brother Love

For 27 months, Harrison and his brothers shared a typical brotherly relationship filled with laughter, play, quarrels, and fights. However, everything changed when their baby sister, Brooklyn Marie Blonigen, arrived on March 11, 2022. Harrison and Barrett formed the "Big Bro Protection Co," showing deep love and devotion to their little sister.

3. A Spunky and Energetic Spirit

Harrison was known for his spunky and energetic nature, always displaying enthusiasm in various sports like hockey and baseball. His boundless energy and determination set him apart from his peers and made him a standout individual.

6. Honoring Harrison's Memory

A visitation to honor Harrison's memory will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 4-7 pm at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 104 West First Street, Jordan. On Friday, June 30, 2023, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 24425 Old Highway Blvd, Jordan, with a visitation time prior from 9:30-11 am. Father Michael Miller will preside over the service, and Harrison will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
