A man charged overnight with the murder of a Brisbane bikie associate allegedly stabbed him six times in the “horrific” daylight attack, police have claimed.

Police intensified their search for 24-year-old Kyle Martin on Saturday over the alleged murder of Levi Johnson.

Johnson, 23, was allegedly stabbed to death after he was allegedly attacked in the carpark of Mansfield gym on Pine Mountain Rd on Monday.

Four men allegedly smashed their way into his car with a crowbar before two of them chased him across the road, where he was allegedly stabbed multiple times in the chest.

Johnson died at the scene.

Detectives and specialist officers swooped on a Warwick property about 9.45pm Saturday.

Mr Martin was charged with murder (serious organised crime), while a 24-year-old Wynnum West woman was also arrested.

She is assisting police with inquiries and has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

Following the arrets, Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham said Mr Martin was arrested as the result of “old school detective work”.

Superintendent Massingham told media police tracked a vehicle associated with a woman believed to be Mr Martin’s girlfriend.

Officers followed the woman who went to pick up dinner - enough for two and paid in cash.

“It was at that time I was confident we had our wanted person,” Superintendent Massingham said.

Mr Martin surrendered to police after speaking with the Special Emergency Response Team.

Superintendent Massingham said the 24-year-old is alleged to have brought the knife and allegedly stabbed Johnson at least six times.

He told media another person who has been charged “continued to assault” Johnson following the alleged stabbing.

“This is a disgraceful act, it is a brutal assault, it is a coward assault,” he said.

Superintendent Massingham said police had been investigating links to bikie clubs and alleges the men are members of the 13 Kings gang, which is believed to have been around since 2013.

“At this stage there will be some matters out before the court, with respect to motive. I can’t go into that in detail (as) we are in the sub judice period,” he said.

It has also been revealed Mr Martin allegedly had a “personal feud” with Johnson.

The arrest comes one day after the arrest of Thomas Myler, 35, and a 31-year-old woman.

Police cornered Mr Myler and the woman during a raid at a home in Wellington Point in Brisbane’s east after being tipped off by the public.

A police helicopter had tracked a vehicle from the address to a property in Chandler, where it is alleged he buried a number of firearms before driving the vehicle back to the house in Wellington Point.

Police said they searched both properties and allegedly seized a number of firearms.

Myler was charged with one count of murder (serious organised crime) and was due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.

The woman was being questioned by detectives to investigate whether she or anyone else was involved in helping him hide from police.

Queensland Police detectives last week arrested and charged Luke Thomas Moore and Stuart Galloway, both aged 34, with one count of murder each.

Superintendent Massingham said the hunt for the four alleged assailants was one of the most significant in recent times.

More than 200 police and 60 detectives were involved.
